The Key to Attracting Potential Patients

Successful marketing of a Concierge or DPC practice requires connecting with potential patients effectively.

This struck me on a personal level when searching recently for a doctor for my family. After gathering referrals from trusted sources, I went online to research my options. Directory listings weren’t of much use. Not-so-great physician ratings eliminated some of the possibilities. In many cases the practice websites I did find were minimally helpful.

I ultimately discovered a website which fully engaged me. As if talking to me in person, the doctor used clear, compassionate language to explain her services and unique approach, as well as the values that define her work and benefits that could be expected. She answered questions I hadn’t thought of.  She directed me to additional resources. I felt a strong connection, and was given information, not a sales pitch. As you might expect, I’m excited to meet her in person at our appointment next week.

Effective marketing is an educational process that allows you to:

  • Differentiate your practice from others.
  • Tap into why patients choose to put their care in your hands.
  • Introduce services patients might not need now, but may consider in the future.
  • Make an initial positive connection with prospects and begin to turn them into loyal patients.

With such easy access to online information and endless choices, the process of choosing a physician can be daunting. Why not make it easy for people to learn about you and your practice, and what sets you apart from others?

Help them decide if you’re the right fit for their needs and personality. And if they do choose you, you’re off to a great start for a healthy physician-patient relationship!
